Can we use Emplorium alongside Chatbase?
Yes. You can keep Chatbase agents where they already run (for example on specific landing pages or properties) while rolling out Emplorium as your main chat-first support surface. Over time, many teams consolidate onto a single AI layer once they see Aura can cover the same use cases inside Emplorium.
How does Aura AI compare to Chatbase AI agents?
Both use your content and sources, but they’re positioned differently: Chatbase is an AI agent builder you plug into other tools, while Aura is the native AI layer of your support stack. Aura operates inside the Emplorium inbox, profiles, flows, and integrations, so it can answer and act in one place instead of handing off to a separate system.
Is Emplorium as flexible with knowledge sources as Chatbase?
Emplorium can learn from KBAs, website pages, Q&A pairs, company settings, and data fields, and can fetch data via APIs using Data Requests. Chatbase supports a broader “Sources” model including file uploads, site crawling, Notion, and ticket imports. If you need extremely diverse content ingestion, you can still index that content upstream and expose it to Aura via APIs. But we are currently working on those specific integrations.
How do pricing models differ?
Chatbase uses credit-based pricing: each plan includes a certain number of message credits per month, with higher plans offering more credits, more AI agents, and more AI actions. Emplorium is priced as a customer engagement platform, focused on giving teams a predictable way to run chat, AI, and flows without separately modeling message credits and bot usage.
